Case Overview: Ms. Shen entrusted Seapoe Relo with shipping furniture and personal belongings from her Shanghai home to Tokyo, Japan.
Ms. Shen, who lives in Shanghai, recently prepared to move to Tokyo, Japan due to a job transfer. After completing the relevant formalities, she found Seapoe Relo through an old friend's introduction, and Seapoe's staff visited her home to tailor a dedicated shipping plan. Ms. Shen planned to ship most of the furniture and personal items she had used for years to Japan, because these pieces felt both familiar and reassuring to her. The estimated volume totaled 8 cubic meters, and Seapoe recommended LCL shipping, which is not only more cost-effective but also reasonably fast.

Ms. Shen chose the door-to-door one-stop shipping service. At the agreed time, the movers arrived with Seapoe's dedicated packing materials to collect the goods. During pickup, they used appropriate packing methods based on the characteristics and shapes of the furniture in Ms. Shen's home.
For the coffee table, for example, the movers first wrapped it in multiple layers of pearl cotton and secured it with tape, then cut cardboard to the appropriate size based on the table's shape to wrap it and prevent knocks. For the TV cabinet, they thickly wrapped the sides with pearl cotton, tightened it with tape to prevent loosening, and then reinforced the edges and corners with cardboard, which not only prevents knocks but also cushions shocks; finally, they cut and applied cardboard to cover the entire surface, fully wrapping it for solid protection. Other furniture went through the same standardized packing process: first wrapping with pearl cotton, then protecting with cardboard—easily done!

After packing was complete, the movers loaded the items onto the truck and transported them to the Seapoe warehouse, where, as needed, staff built high-density wooden crates and pallets for the furniture to ensure safety and smooth handling during ocean shipping. Once packing was finished, the furniture was loaded into containers at the port. All the follow-up work was left to Seapoe—Ms. Shen simply waited in Tokyo to receive her goods.
