Case Summary: Mr. Sun from Shanghai immigrated to settle in Tokyo, Japan, and entrusted Seapoe with shipping his luggage and belongings of approximately 10 cubic meters by sea.

Tokyo, Japan's largest city and de facto capital, has since the Meiji Restoration served as the hub for Japanese politics, economy, culture, transportation and many other fields. Today it is a global metropolis with a very high standard of urban living. Dense architecture, rich cuisine, charming streetscapes and punctual shinkansen trains have earned Tokyo the title of a livable city for many consecutive years. Mr. Yu from Shanghai chose to settle in Tokyo, Japan, and entrusted Seapoe Relo with shipping approximately 20 cubic meters of furniture and luggage to Tokyo by sea.
After signing the shipping contract, Seapoe arranged for staff to pick up and pack the goods at the agreed time. Moving from Shanghai to Tokyo involves not only a long transit time but also multiple stages of overland transport and a lengthy ocean voyage, with numerous loading and unloading operations along the way. To better ensure the safe delivery of items to Mr. Yu's home, Seapoe staff used professional packing methods, wrapping furniture and other items multiple times with various materials.
Mr. Yu's newly purchased house in Tokyo would not be ready for some time, and his Shanghai home had already been vacated, so Mr. Yu used Seapoe's free one-month storage service offered to customers. Once Mr. Yu was settled in Japan, the furniture could then be shipped over by sea.
