Case Overview: Mr. Zhao entrusted Seapoe Relo to ship the items from his home in Hangzhou to Shizuoka, Japan by sea.
Mr. Zhao has been working in Japan for a long time. He and his family have a particular fondness for Shizuoka, a city surrounded by mountains and water and filled with childhood joys, so they decided to settle in Japan. He successfully persuaded his parents to sell their property in Hangzhou and enjoy their later years in Japan. Thanks to the recommendation of his friend Mr. Wang, who also lives in Japan, Mr. Zhao got in touch with us.

Since the two elders are reluctant to part with the old furniture they are familiar with in China, Mr. Zhao decided to move traditional furniture such as cabinets, sofas, and solid wood coffee tables from their old home, and planned to buy some new furniture to take along as well.

The Seapoe consultant recommended LCL sea freight service to Mr. Zhao, taking cost and transit time into consideration. After both parties reached an agreement on price and service, Seapoe provided a door-to-door one-stop international moving service. When the appointed time arrived, Seapoe staff came to the door to pack and collect the items.

Seapoe adopted appropriate packing methods based on the characteristics and shapes of the furniture in Mr. Zhao's home. Pearl cotton was used for careful wrapping, followed by additional protective packaging with properly cut cardboard to avoid any bumps and damage during transportation.

After packing was completed, Mr. Zhao's furniture was first transported to Seapoe's self-operated warehouse, where it enjoyed free storage service.

Subsequently, the new furniture Mr. Zhao purchased in China arrived at the Seapoe warehouse. Warehouse staff signed for it on his behalf and conducted inspections, checking the quantity, specifications, and packaging condition of the goods to ensure they fully matched the list provided by Mr. Zhao.
Warehouse staff carefully inspected the original packaging of the new furniture. For any packaging found to be damaged, unstable, or not up to sea freight standards, they would replace it according to the client's specific requirements. Finally, the old and new furniture were packed together, ready for shipment.

After 15 days of transportation, the items finally arrived at the Japanese port. Seapoe arranged for professional staff to deliver the items directly to Mr. Zhao's home, assist him with unpacking and furniture assembly, and clean up all remaining debris. And just like that, Mr. Zhao was happily reunited with his beloved belongings!
